From the author:
"Count With Me: Under the Sea" began with the art of the pufferfish which became number "one". I liked it so much I decided to do 10 pages of super cute sea creatures, incorporating the numbers 1-10 and colors as well into the book.
"Starry Turtle" is an analogy of a child being born and coming into the world to experience new things and embrace life and new friends. Starry has a little magic around her as well, with her shell surrounded by an aura of twinkling stars. I hope that readers find it as dreamy and adorable as it is intended to be. I intend to write a series of books featuring Starry Turtle! Find out more at www.starryturtle.com
"The Christmas Cat" is a heartwarming tale about a stray cat and his little catnip mouse companion who face many obstacles but finally find a forever home with the help of Santa Claus.
This past year's Halloween book was "THE BATS ARE COMING!" Years ago I bought my daughter an offbeat birthday card that said, "It's when you can't hear the bats, that's when the bats are coming". We always had a good laugh over that card. This Halloween book was inspired by that card and written for her. It's full of bats and the goofiest looking creatures and monsters I could draw up! I think one of my favorite page is the page of spiders - I love those big spiders. My 6 year old grandson and pre-teen son laughed while reading it so it passed the "not-too-spooky giggle test'".
"FIVE LITTLE BLACK CATS" was my first published children’s book. A huge fan of Halloween, I wanted to add a new twist to the classic Halloween poem "Five Little Pumpkins". Join along as the adorable black cats visit all of their Halloween friends! I had so much fun drawing these pages!
I love connecting with my readers and welcome you to correspond with me through email and website. If you enjoy my book(s), please let me and others know by emailing and/or by leaving a review on Amazon.
